LSyM is a small company located in Valencia, it is one of the companies of Universitat de Valencia. With more than 25 years of experience they make simulators of so many environments, ports, quarries or mines are some of them, from the hardware to the software.
Backhoe simulator module
I had the opportunity to work on many of the environments, but during my time at LSyM I was mostly dedicated to changing the version of NVIDIA PhysX SDK to the latest version. Upgrading the version wasn't an easy task, as the old and large code base was well established, and some major changes happened, especially with the wheeled vehicles.
As part of this update, we also had the opportunity to develop a tool to edit vehicle parameters, and as you might have already imagined, we use ImGUI for that.
Reachstacker simulator module
Not everything was upgrading to the new version of physics, I also worked with the bones of the code base to develop new features or do some bug fixes.
